CumulusMX on iMac OS X El Capitan 10.11 Beta

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

CumulusMX on iMac OS X El Capitan 10.11 Beta

Post by peterhendrix53 »

Hi Steve,

I have installed mono runtime on my mac and i put de cumulusMX file into the directory CumulusMX then I started the terminal and I give the command sudo mono CumulsMX.exe after I type my password I get the command sudo: mono: command not found. Maybe the problem is that I used the beta version El Capitan??

It sounds like the directory containing the mono binary isn't on your command path. A web search does suggest that there are problems with mono on El Capitan, however.

Check whether the directory containing the mono binary is on your path, if it isn't, put it on your path. If it still doesn't work, then it's presumably because of the problem with mono on El Capitan that a web search suggests exists.
