Slowly switching from Cumulus 1 to MX. Thanks to Mark Crossley and Steve I've learned so much about HTML and PHP and incorporated SS gauges and use PHP pages on C1. The site is put together with a lot of "Duck tape", as I learned as I built. Hoping to clean up the site with a rebuild as I convert to MX.

I've overcome many issues but am stymied with the MySQL tab on the CMX settings. "Access denied for user 'fxxxxxxx'@'99.176.23.137' (using password: YES) :groan:

Using the PHP templates from the Cumulus Wiki I can access the MySQL db but when I try the built-in in MX, no luck.

Running MX on Mac OS X Yosimite, my Raspberry is on order

You probably need to grant privileges on the database to allow remote access for your user. When accessing from PHP, you are (usually) doing it locally, so different permissions apply.
