The WEA22 certainly looks like a Fine Offset which is what a WH1080 is.
Just select Fine Offset in the Station Settings and Cumulus should connect.

Hi
I have got the- in temp, out temp, time and the date, think I have rain connected on pc screen as well.
But Not the wind direction or speed, keep back going back (W) while it should be (S/SE) , or the speed .
What have I not done, have tried and tried with no results
any thoughts?
Many Thanks.

Hi frederick,
It's probably a cable/connector issue. As a test, try plugging the "Wind" cable into the "Rain" socket on the transmitter and rotate the anemometer slowly. The console should indicate an enormous amount of rain within 48 seconds. Similarly, you could plug the Rain cable into the Wind socket, when lots of water passing through (or continuous rocking/rattling of the sensor) should indicate a small windspeed/gust.
There's no equivalent test for the Vane (wind direction), but do you have any electronics test equipment such as a multimeter?
Cheers, Alan.

Hi Alan
I have tried that and with no difference.
I thought these stations were sold as "already setup"
with a little adjustment to be made from time to time.
Cheers.

Hi,
The User Manual states: "Once you have verified that all of the components of the weather station are working, they can be positioned in their permanent places", so FO isn't very confident that it will always work "straight out of the box".
But I'm afraid that we really can't help much, without more information about what tests you have done, and can do.
Cheers, Alan.

Hi Alan thanks for info.
another problem appears, this time with Cumulus, I'm afraid.
Well I just touched the Cumulus icon and the whole Cumulus screen disappeared so then back to small icon on the side of pc and it will not open,
why I do not know, I have been on Cumulus for a few years now.
whether I can reload it again?.
cheers
