Hi All especially Steve,
firstly i want to say that your app is great (rly man). I know that you write it once time that you will not share source code, but i want to ask you if is possible to describe how you connect to weather station. I tried connect with WH1080 by serial port (many tutorials for read data from USB port - used VB.NET) but without any result. I Tried read some manuals with libusb DLL but to without any result :/. Also i read some advise from Jim-easterbrook ... + there is no any API for this type of weather station so i think that i am at the bottom ... i will understand if you will say no :) anyway good luck with your application development

This page has the information you need - https://code.google.com/p/fowsr/downloads/list

Michael Pendec's wwsr code is what I used to work out how to talk to Fine Offset stations. The station works as a HID, so communicating with it involves reading HID reports.

I'd be happy to answer any specific questions (as best I can) that you might have after you've looked at the documents and the code.

Yes, I think usb.h is provided by libusb. But I have never compiled Michael's code, I just used it as a guide for what I needed to do - I don't use C, Cumulus 1 is written using Delphi (Pascal) and Cumulus MX is written in C#.

For Cumulus 1 I used a Delphi package which wraps the underlying Windows USB code, and for Cumulus MX I'm using a cross-platform .Net wrapper called HidSharp.
