You just need to finish editing the file you are currently working on. May I suggest you install Notepad++ to do this.

Using search will be finding all the files in the backups - I have no idea which one he is editing.

Search has found 16 Aug15 files. When I click on one of them, it launches Notepad and I use the GpTo function to find line 215. I did this once taking out the spaces, with no effect on the error. My question was do I have to edit all 16 of them but someone said there shouldn't be 16 of them. I don't know how to edit a file in Windows 8.1 - the file explorer is not as easy as the earlier versions, or at least I don't know how to use it!

Good point ;)

Forget search! Install Notepad++ as i recommended. Open Notepad++ select open a file and point it towards the correct file in 'C' (probably) Cumulus\data as Mark stated earlier. Forget all the others.

Thank you very much - I have installed Notepad and line 215 (the offending line) was full of "nulls" which I have deleted and all works fine now. Thanks for all your help.

Good, glad to hear it. Although credit should go to David, reading the whole thread I can see in the second post he told you exactly what we just did.

Be sure to make Notepad++ your default text editor and it will save a lot of headaches in the future.
