Hi Steve,
I did that and it seemed to work OK. I have looked in the Cumulus program data and it all seems to be there. However there is still data missing on my website?
http://www.eastbourne-weather.co.uk/
I did a web update but still no joy. Any suggestions?

If you look on my website its the monthly records Jan to July that are missing . Also under records some of the low temps etc are incorrect and give a date of 30th Dec 1999!

If the data is missing from your web site (and it is up to date) then it is hard to see how it is not missing in Cumulus also. If you look at the data files section in the wiki, you will see that all-time records, monthly records etc, are held in .ini files, and as I have tried to explain, it is those files which are most affected by the change in system settings. You can use the editors in Cumulus to rebuild those ini files from the monthly logs and dayfile.txt (starting with rebuilding dayfile.txt itself if that has missing entries). There is information in the FAQ and the wiki about correcting data, and the editors themselves have help.

Hi Steve,
I have rebuild the monthly records etc. using the editor in Cumulus after taking out a few extra dates in the dayfile first that had been added with the wrong date format.
I have now done a web update and all the data is present and correct!!
Many, many thanks for your help once again.
