All Zeros (0.0) on dashboard

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

All Zeros (0.0) on dashboard

Post by n1iwv »

I installed CMX build 3028 on Sunday. All went well. I started CMX from the RPI terminal window and it started as usual.
However, when I pointed my browser (either FireFox or Chrome) at the webserver (http://192.168.1.200:8998) I see all zeros in the various data field on the dashboard. Including the "Last station update" .
I have had this happen on previous builds, but I found if I just terminated and restarted CMX the problem would go away.
With build 3028 I had tried to restart several times, rebooted the Pi several times and finally reset the Davis WLIP (remove power and batteries), but the problem did not do away.
After a number of attempts to cycle CMX, I finally had data appear in the dashboard and the program appears to be running normally now.
I've attached a zip of the MX diag files

There's some kind of issue reading archive data from the logger, the WLIP seems to not respond when MX asks for the data from the last time it was running. Do you have the WLIP logging interval set to the same as the Cumulus logging interval?

I terminated CMX and fired up the Weatherlink software. I changed the "archive interval" to 10 minutes.
I think that's the same as logger interval on Cumulus.

Thanks for all your help.
