Cumulus Support

Just got it running properly but it is giving me a strange problem, it doesn't show any current weather etc and gets itself in a bit of a muddle. It thinks it is last updated in July, even if I wipe all data and start totally clean. So it just sits there wondering.. current diag attached..

That timestamp is coming from today.ini (which is where it gets the timestamp to know when it last ran)

It's not showing current data yet because it's still downloading archive data from the logger from that date (at the point where you've attached the diags file).

The best thing to do would be to stop Cumulus and delete the entire contents of the data folder, including the today.ini file.

right I did that and it all worked, with no historical data.

I changed the Cumulus.ini and preprepared the data files, copied over and set it off again. The exact same issue. Thinks it is in July and even updates the July log file, but starting at the end and putting in several lines that are already in it for the 25th.

I plugged the Vue back into my windows nuc and let it catch up there and all is ok.
So I look at the today.ini on the windows and RPi the time formats are different for a start and surprised the windows is using 12hr clock (only in today.ini/month.ini), RPi is 24hr.

Still not sure why it doesn't like my old data.. could it be this?

getting a bit stumped..

ok I now know why the time format is wrong.. my PC upgraded to windows 10 and did some really bad things, 1 being messing with my time/date format. I need to now test to see is this is why things aren't going as I planned!

and this is where the problem was..... sorry to have been a pain.
