Longest Wet/Dry Period

I remember reading that Cumulus does not arbitrarily "cut off" the running count of consecutive wet or dry days just because the month changes.

But if you have, say 20 consecutive dry days that runs from July 20-August 8, and those 20 days would constitute a record for most consecutive dry days, would the record show up as a July record or an August record? Or both?

I don't know what Cumulus does, but I would take it as an August record... as the record was not yet set by July 31st.

The 20 would be an August record. If the number of days up to the 30th June was a June record, it would record that as a June record. It's not really something you can tie down to a particular month.

So, to use another example. If I had dry conditions from July 10-August 2, Cumulus would report a July record of 22 days (from July 10-31) and an August record of 24 days (from July 10-August 2)?

Yes, I think so.
