Pressure gauge

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Pressure gauge

Post by philipgm »

When viewing the 'Dashboard' and 'gauges' page on the local CumulusMX site the Pressure gauge, on the gauges page, looks rather strange. The scale goes from
-10 to about 1000 hpa. So the pointer is always all the way around. Any ideas please.

The pressure gauge scale is based on your all-time high and low pressure readings, so you've probably had some kind of glitch at some point and had a zero pressure reading somehow. There are no data editors in MX yet, so you'll need to correct it by stopping Cumulus and editing the alltime.ini file. There's unfortunately no easy way to find the correct value using MX, you could look at dayfile.txt to find it in there (that bogus zero is also likely to be in there).
