Question for Steve

Just a curiosity question and I didn't know where to post the question.

@Steve

Do you have a guesstimate as to the number of users of your software?

I noticed that CumulusMX has a registration number or similar built in. I never really saw that in Cumulus 1 (well never really looked).

It's impossible to say how many users there are with any accuracy (many of them won't have their own web site for example), but my guess would be in the mid numbers of thousands. There are just under 9000 registered users on the forum, but not all of those will ever have been using Cumulus and many will no longer be using it, but on the other hand there will be users who aren't registered on the forum at all.

The Cumulus 1 installer gets downloaded between 100 and 200 times every day, and has been downloaded over 400,000 times in total. Make of that what you will. Maybe my guess is on the low side ;)

Thank-you Steve.

A bit into bean counting (metrics) here.

@arneande

Yup Malwarebytes blocks my no-ip dynamic dns links above.

I see the same here using Malwarebytes.

It is just relating to no ip dot com and not the Cumulus web sites.

You should see it locally on your browser.

Not sure if you care but you should maybe remove the serial number above from your post.

I am still utilizing V.25 and see that you are using V.26.

It should not matter though.

Here see the same when starting and Cumulus. I am using Firefox here and do have Malwarebytes on all of the Wintel computers and see it fine (except not using IE).

root@ICS-Cumulus:/CumulusMX# ./autostart_mx.sh

@arneande

I have not tried CumulusMX on a Wintel box yet.

It would be better for you to start a new post relating to your issue and V.26.

Here downgraded back to V.25 on my RPi2 for the time being.
