Cumulus Crashes

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Cumulus Crashes

Post by sperry russ »

This is the fist time I have tried uploading to the web with CumulusMX. I have been trying it out and getting used to it. It is crashing when it ftp's to the web I think. The MXdiags has something about: Mono.Security.Protocol.Tls.TlsException, etc. etc.

Thanks.

Have you installed the trusted root certificates, as described in the instructions in the announcement post?

Yes. That is what is was. I had not read over the Announcement since several months ago and did not remember it all. My Twitter account now uploads too. On my Windows Machine the Twitter account had stopped working and I could not figure it out. You had tried to help but I didn't want to waste too much time on that.

Do you think their is a similar problem with a certificate on my Windows machine?

Thanks.

No, only Mono needs the certificates installing manually. If you have a Twitter issue with either MX or Cumulus 1 on Windows, then it must be something else.
