False annual rain reporting.

I downloaded Cumulus about 2 months ago to compare with my other weather software like Weatherlink and Weather station.
I found all weather software and the Vantage vue report annual rainfall at 1464.8 mls but Cumulus report only 1056.6 mls.

If you only started using Cumulus two months ago, then it doesn't have the rainfall for the beginning of the year. On the station settings screen there is a place to add a 'year to date' rainfall figure to cover the period from the start of the year to when you started using Cumulus.

When I change it On the station settings screen to the proper amount for this year of 1468.8 and after I restarted cumulus and now it shows 1781.6

The 'year to date' figure is not the current total. The figure you need to put in the 'year to date' box is the difference between the amount Cumulus was showing and the actual total for this year - i.e. the amount of rain for this year up to the point when you started using Cumulus. From the figures you gave, that amount is 1464.8-1056.6=408.2, except that from your screen shot, Cumulus was actually showing 1057.6 and not 1056.6. When you restart Cumulus, it will then show the correct amount for this year.

I restarted CUMULUS and now it is showing 1781.8 instead of 1464.8
Is there any file i can edit to rectify this as other software have ??

What figure have you put in the year to date box? Please zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply in this thread. Please include in the zipfile your dayfile.txt file from the Cumulus data folder
