Thank-you Steve. I have started to play with the T files. Works great!

Re: Cumulus 1 and Cumulus MX sharing a serial port?
Noticed this morning (well not noticed when I initially configured Davis diagnostic web tags yesterday) differences in the Davis diagnostics web tags between the Wintel computer running Cumulus 1 and the RPi2 running Cumulus MX.
I am not getting the Davis firmware version from the webtage with the Davis 6250 console running V3.0 firmware on it.
Note too here that this is one Davis 6250 console connected to one ISS connected to one Wintel server via a Quatech serial server via the network and one RPi2 with a direct connect to one serial port server (used for both of the connections). Last night we did have some major thunderstorms pass through, lights flickered a bit but the power did not go out.
Its not really a big deal though and thought I would just post here about it.

Re: Cumulus 1 and Cumulus MX sharing a serial port?
The differences could be because the DLL in Cumulus 1 caches them and doesn't read them so often (I don't know that it does, it's just a guess). Or if you're connecting both programs at the same time via your splitter, it could well be that one or both of them is not getting a valid response back some of the time due to clashes in the protocol, so the stats are out of date.

Thank you Steve. Yup they sort of sync'd up a bit later in the day. I did order another Davis console last week.

Re: Cumulus 1 and Cumulus MX sharing a serial port?
21st of July, 2015
Today updated the serial cable to the serial server to a buffered serial cable.
I have not seen any issues to date with the Davis Console ==> serial server ==> Cumulus 1 on Wintel server plus Cumulus MX on the RPi2.
Well one issue I have seen is that if I turn on the debug stuff it does mess with the serial com.
Doing another endeavour here using a Davis weather station (vantage pro II) with a similiar set up except no serial server.
