which I downloaded the zip file from page one.

You could test it my artificially changing $MoonPercent in moonphasetag.php to 50 or -50 for instance.

For those of you who downloaded my moon phase code there is an update which takes care of an anomaly between the New moon and Waxing Crescent.

What happens is i use a dyndns so when my ip address dont have to worry about changing it at my domain hosting provider but what i do is web forward kirbymuxloe-weather.dyndns.org webfoward to my domain name kirbymuxloe-weather.co.uk and thats with crazy domains so its them not me.

First Quarter is actually an 'instantaneous' event, like new moon and full moon, so it is arbitrary for how long you decide to say that it is the current phase. Cumulus and whatever the thing is you have posted just happen to use different criteria. Neither are 'wrong'.
