Raspberry pi 2 mirror of a system with Cumulus MX working on

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

That's because your data logs are still empty as you haven't got as far as configuring it for your station yet.
Till the end of this magic moment everyfing goes well. In effect the adress of CumulusMX dashboard on the browser should be (in my case) like this: http://192.168.1.20:8998/. But when I open the dashboard and I try to make basic changes in the settings (station type, pressure units I got Error [object Object]
That's because you are using Polish settings and hence decimal commas (as I mentioned earlier). So you need to follow the instructions to uninstall your current mono-complete package and install a later version - https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13587

I changed the mono-complete as you suggested.
Now when I try to open CumulusMX dashboard page it does't work. Instead automatically saves the index.html in the download directory and open it in the Libre Office. It's crazy.

Are you trying to use a browser on the Raspberry Pi? Most browsers which run on the Raspberry Pi are limited in what they can do. The Epiphany browser seems to work OK for me, but bear in mind that the Raspberry Pi is a very low power device.

Thank you Steve for your guidance. I hope our correspondence will very helpful for another "fresh raspberry users". I feel I'm pretty close to the success :)

But...

Now I can see the the dashboard of Cumulus MX in the browser, I can change and save the settings , but my Raspberry can't find my weather station (WH1080)

Current culture: English (United Kingdom) //for default right format of decimal

My weather station (WH 1080) is connected with my Raspberry Pi by the ordinary USB wire.

What version of Mono are you using? (Do mono -V)

There are problems with that version of Mono, see https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=14508

I don't know what the solution is at the moment.

This should work:

First, remove mono-complete:

sudo apt-get remove mono-complete

Then delete the repository that supplied it:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mono-xamarin.list

Then reinstall:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install mono-complete

Then see what mono -V tells you. 3.2.8 will be fine if that's what you end up with and you don't use commas for decimals, as you are using English settings.

Sorry, I don't know how you resolve that. The instructions I gave worked for someone else in the same situation. If you can't resolve it, then I can't suggest anything other than starting with a fresh OS but leaving the mono at 3.2.8, that version works fine if you are going to use English settings.
