Weather forecast

I am curios as to how far into the future does cumulus predict the weather.
I have noticed that my console will show cloudy skies but no rain and cumulus will show stormy , much precipitation.
It does not appear that they agree with each other.
Mind you I know that this is calculated and the two are more than likely doing it differently.
Just curios that's all

Does it also say "Exceptional weather"? -

The forecast (when working correctly) is for the next 12 hours -

Thanks Sandy
I found the link you sent me after I had posted this. It was doing that but I made sure that my settings for pressure were correct. It changes now but it very rarely agrees with what my console says. In case you are not familiar with my Station
It predicts weather trends that are 24 to 48 hours out which would explain why they disagree.
Is there a way to make cumulus predict 24 to 48 hours out?
If not it is no big deal as I know that this is a educated guess anyway no promise that the weather predicted is what is really going to happen.

If you have been modifying the forecast pressures see
https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 93&#p78293
Are you sure your STATION is reporting the correct adjusted Sea Level Pressure (Relative) ?
The Zambretti based code used (and most others) will not be able to make a forecast of 24hrs plus beacause for that you need data from beyond your weather 'horizon'.
You don't say if both forecasts are correct (Cumulus short, station long), or one but not the other or ........

All I can tell you is that I have not made any changes to the pressure settings. All I have done was to make sure that cumulus and my station were using the same setting. And how would I know if my station is reporting the correct sea level pressure.
I am within 15 miles of Craig Field KCRG but I have never checked to see what they report as sea level pressure
As I stated I have not changed any thing in Cumulus or in my station every thing is pretty much set at the default.
except for some minor fine tuning which would not effect sea level pressure
