I can't get send data to Wunderground using MX although the site updates OK with other software.
I enclose 3 sets of diagnostic files in all Wunderground seems to return an OK response. On a whim I changed to an incorrect password for one test and still got an OK response which seems strange. Have double-checked the normal pw and it is correct.

As far as I can tell, all of the updates in those diags files have appeared on your WU page. Do you have MX running now and updating WU? The last update was at 1900, just a couple of minutes ago.

No I switched back to Weewx because the update time was increasing. Have now switched back to MX and will leave it until it times out or works

You're probably getting an error response back from WU, but MX is only displaying the http response - in two different ways. I'll change it so that it displays the content of the response.

The only reasons that I can think of at the moment for getting an error response back would be an incorrect password or your clock is wrong.

The clock is correct and I have checked the password several times, but when I deliberately used an incorrect password I did get the same response. My password contains ' *&' characters but don't suppose that this could be an issue ?

Yes, for the reason I explained above.

Yes, quite likely. MX may not be doing the correct encoding of those characters.

Have changed password and station is now updating so looks like it works if password is alpha numeric characters
