Wind Data Displayed as Average

Hi Steve,

I have the new Arduino built station up and running for my place of employment and everything so far is working fine except for the wind data. The wind data is being displayed on the screen as the wind average and is continually updated as a new line is read from the file that the station writes. The latest wind (and the needle on the gauge) are at zero. I have double checked to make sure that I have placed the data in correct columns and that I (hopefully) have placed them in the correct formats. I have attached a zip folder of the latest .dat file and the diags folder as well as the debug file and the data file the station itself creates. Let me know if you would like a screen shot of the settings in cumulus. I do not have "use speed for avg" clicked or calculate 10 minute avg clicked. Because it is not reporting a speed to the latest, it is not reporting to Wunderground. Thank you in advance Steve,

Jeff

You're only supplying an average speed - the 15th column. The Fine Offset 'gust' - the 17th column - is what Cumulus uses for 'latest'.

For my setup, I am having to use the easyweather data file format. Does this make a difference?

Thanks.

Jeff

Yes, I understand that, it was the easyweather.dat file format I was referring to. The 17th column is used for 'latest' (in the 'real' easyweather.dat it's called 'gust') and the 15th column is used for 'average'. You are supplying zero in the 17th column.
