Sun Hours???

Post by cheshirepalms »

I set my WS3083 up a few days, I'm pretty happy with it but its not recording sun hours. The first day I set it up it was late in the day before I had it all working and it registered 0.5 hours sunshine. Since then I've had 2 days of wall to wall sunshine and the sun hours haven't updated?! Is anyone else having this problem? I could understand if it had not recorded any at all and it simply didn't work.

Assuming that your sensor is returning reasonable values, you probably need to adjust the parameters which determine whether the sun is perceived to be shining or not, in the 'solar' panel on the station settings screen. See the help for that screen for what the settings mean.

Thank you that's very helpful. I had ticked the BL setting by mistake and I think that was the problem.
