Hey Guys,

I just have a question about my weather station setup you can find the website here http://www.kotaraweather.com/index.html

As you can see it's currently raining, however http://kotaraweather.com/monthlyrecord.htm displays a total of 542.80 in, also in this month, this year, records, monthly records, trends.

I have read this http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#I_get_ ... h_readings however I'm not really understanding how to change the records to display correctly.

it does show correct readings on http://www.kotaraweather.com/index.html

Any Ideas?

And one more question, I currently have the station set on fine offset with UV/Light Sensor, I was reading the FAQ and found that this may not be correct, I am using the XC0348.

I promise I read the FAQ, just need a gentle hand. :bash:

Ok, my old man wanted me to change rain totals from inches to MM, I'm now getting erroneous errors I should have read the warning in Cumulus, and I'm not to sure why I got a wind spike of 107kph. Oh well guess I'll have to delete the logs from yesterday after midnight, will this update the website if I delete the logs after midnight? Will this also update month, this year, records, monthly records, trends on the website also?
end-edit

Cheers,

Matt

Your weather station does not have solar and UV sensors, so selecting that as the station type is the likely cause of your erroneous data. This will have been compounded by changing units. Your simplest course of action, as you have just started using Cumulus, is to first correct the station type, then stop Cumulus and delete the contents of the data folder and start again from now.

Hey Steve,

Thankyou for the reply much appreciated, ok I've changed it to easyweather and placed the .dat file from the easyweather folder. Is that correct?

Cheers, I'll delete that data folder and see how we go from there.

Thanks, Great software btw, I'm donating a little bit for the new version.

Matt

No. If you read the help for the station type setting, it explains what you need to do, and why the previous setting was wrong. Use the "Fine Offset (WH1080 etc)" setting, and don't run Easyweather at the same time as Cumulus.
