Cumulus not downloading archive from Davis Vantage Pro 2

Hi All,
Been through the FAQ and the Wiki, and I'm sure I am missing something simple. I can connect to the VP2 and get current data but on startup I get no records from the Davis Data Logger. Program says "Downloading Data" and after a couple of seconds it says "Archive records read = 0". Real time data then displays. I have no problem reading the Data Logger with VWS, so I know data is there. I turned off the archive clear function in VWS, so data is NOT being cleared. I have the data interval set to 30 minutes on Cumulus and on the Davis Data Logger.
Any ideas??

This is after you have had Cumulus running and reading live data, you close it down for a while, and then after you start it up, it doesn't download the data from when you closed it down, so you get a gap in your data? You haven't accidentally unset 'use data logger', by any chance? If not, please zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply in this thread, and I'll take a look.

I shut Cumulus down for several hours and restarted it. It then downloaded the archive records properly. I wasn't leaving it off long enough for some archive records to accumulate. Does Cumulus clear the data logger memory after a read?

No, Cumulus does not clear the data logger, upon restart it just gets the data from the date/time the last time Cumulus was running..

Make sure you set the Logger interval in the Davis console to the same as you have in Cumulus. You can use WL for this and there are some tools that do it for you if you don't have WL.
The default for Davis is something like 30 minutes!
There is info on this in the Wiki and setup procedures.

I suspect you were only leaving it for half an hour previously. There is a bug in the Davis DLL which Cumulus uses, where it never downloads the last archive record; so if there is only one to download, it doesn't get any at all. With a 30-minute interval, this would be more significant.
