Cumulus Support

Well it took some time and lots of effort, mostly by someone else, but Komoka, Ontario Canada Station 1076 is contributing to the Blitzortung network http://www.lightningmaps.org/realtime

Some hurdles like noise and interference to overcome but just found some ideal settings to give good results until I can eliminate all the garbage.

I'm curious, where have you positioned your antenna?

The amplifier and antenna are currently in a cool cellar. I have ordered an Ethernet Bridge so that will have more options to find a good location. I am getting severe noise at times causing it to go into Interference mode, in the late evening and through the night, that we are trying to track that down.

That's what I'm worried about....
I have lots of electrical stuff everywhere in the house.
I was think about using network of power plugs(running 3 now) and putting in my shed or something....
