It seems odd that they couldn't help. They can presumably tell you what to put for server, username and password, so that just leaves the directory. They have a FAQ about finding your root directory - https://support.godaddy.com/help/articl ... trysite=uk - which even says "Website-related applications might also need to know your website's root directory". If you're putting your Cumulus site in the root, then that's what you put for the directory in Cumulus. If you're putting it in a subdirectory, e.g. "weather", then you tack that on to the end of the root directory path.

If your web root is correctly the one shown on the 'changing directory' line, then your remote paths on your extra files are wrong, they need to start with the same thing.

You didn't change the ftp directory on the sites/option page, did you? Is this your site - http://elmsteadweather.co.uk/ ?

The first thing to do is to look on your PC to see if the pages are being created correctly there. Assuming they are, turn on ftp logging and look at the ftplog.txt file for error messages from the server.

Do you have UTF8 set correctly for the templates you are using?
