I have a Davis Vantage Pro and am running Windows 8 software, Cumulus Version 1.9.4. Since April 1st (no joke) my weather station "today" tab has carried forward the maximum wind speed from the previous day including the time of the wind speed. It is overwritten if the maximum windspeed exceeds the carried over figure. Please view at http://www.pjb.co.nz/today.htm No other data is affected and the daily graphs are correct. The station has been operating for some time however this has only just occurred - how do I fix it?
Many thanks,
Phil.

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply, I may be able to see why it happened. Is your console clock correct? Do you mean the average speed or the 'gust', or both? They look correct on your site, presumably they were overwritten today?

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply, zipped Diagnostics is attached - yes, the data was overwritten this afternoon, it is only the highest gust for today.

Re: Wind speed carried forward from the previous day
Your console clock is slow by nearly an hour, so when Cumulus reads today's high gust from the console, it gets yesterday's figure for the first hour.

2/04/2015 23:19:59.477 : VP2: GetStationTime_V res = 0
2/04/2015 23:19:59.477 : y=2015 m=4 d=2 h=22 m=24
As a separate issue, you have your console logger set to 30 minutes, and Cumulus set to 1 minute, so you are getting this issue - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulu ... t_start_up
(The incorrect clock is also causing the same issue to occur)

Re: Wind speed carried forward from the previous day
Hi Steve,
thank you for that - I guess it will take care of itself tonight as daylight saving ends - the two will be back in line with each other again - and yes, I agree regarding the time it takes to download the data - I will follow the link now and make the necessary changes.
Many thanks.
