I've been using Cumulus for several years without much issue, but one thing that I've noticed from day one is that my Cumulus console will freeze temporarily when data is being uploaded to CWOP or WU. I have my WU upload set to every minute, so every minute for about 5 seconds (while the text "Updating Weather Underground" appears at the bottom), the entire console will freeze and become unresponsive. Once the upload is done, it's back to normal until the next upload occurs.
Is this normal or do I have something configured incorrectly? Thanks!

It's because the update is done on the main (UI) thread. It should really be done in a background thread, but it's not something I propose to change in Cumulus 1 now.
