windows cleanup utility?

Post by larrystein »

Is there a windows cleanup utility to remove any reference of cumulus from the registry?

The reason I ask is because I installed an earlier version and could not remove it in windows control panel. There was only one instance of cumulus in remove delete programs.

So, stupidly I deleted the folders. Not just binned them but fully deleted them.

Now there is references all over the place.

Thanks

Cumulus itself doesn't use the registry. The only entry made in the registry would be for the uninstall info that the installer creates, in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Cumulus_is1

A good programme uninstaller is Revo Uninstaller. I use it all the time rather than leave "leftovers" when uninstalling. Never had a problem with it. What's more, it's free!
