Hi All
My Watson W-8681 seems to have died having run 27/7 since mid 2009!
Rather than looking for spares I am going to take the opportunity to invest in a new Cumulus friendly kit with a UV detector but don't want to rush buying (with my birthday looming next month - hint..!). In the meantime I wish to continue collecting basic data manually with a rain guage, max/min thermometer and recording daily pressure.
I assume editing the Dayfile.txt file is the only way to proceed?
Any tips?

Re: Inputting manual records to Cumulus
Yes, if you want to input daily figures, you'll need to add entries to dayfile.txt. You can then, if you wish, use the editors in Cumulus to update all-time (etc) records. Cumulus is intended for use with a weather station, not for manual input, so using it that way is somewhat cumbersome.
