If This Then That - Lighting Colour by Temp

Post by Smithee »

Morning all,

I have a set up on an old ships lamp to change the colour by the outside temp. At the moment its powered by a Netamo but it would be great to have it linked to Cumulus and thus our Davis station (details at the link below).

I know its probably way down the list of things to do as the new MX is looking great but it thought i would float the thought out there...

Perhaps if you donate a starter pack for Steve and ship it too him, he might be interested. Its fun playing around with new stuff, but those are not cheap.

Thanks for the the suggestion Kevin, If I had the funds it would be a pleasure, sadly I don't and ours are a research kit.

Ifttt works with all sorts of gear though so it's not just lighting and it can be done for free via android iftt receipes etc.

Anyhow I know it's probably at the bottom of a long list but I just thought people would be interested in weather data affecting items in the home.
