Twitter Not Updating?

Is it just me, or is Twitter not accepting or showing updates from Cumulus?
In the past week, it has displayed around only 10% of the amount it should have done?
I have PM'ed Steve and he has agreed there appears to be some sort of issue, I just wondered if anyone on here could shed some light on it?

There are large gaps in mine, e.g:

There's nothing on the Twitter status page to indicate a current problem. I've turned on my debug log to see if any error messages are being returned.

I haven't had a tweet appear since 5 Sept
My debug has the following recent entries
Code: Select all
2232.02938 : 11:26:31 Updating Twitter
2232.02938 : http://twitter.com/statuses/update.xml
2232.03907 : 11:26:32 Twitter Response Code: 0 Response =
Looking back at earlier logs the response from twitter should be some XML rather than nothing!

Yes, I think it just returns the tweet as XML. If it's returning a success response when it's failing, that's going to be a bit hard to investigate!

Actually, I think I may be logging winsock errors instead of http response codes...

Twitter would appear to be working again. I was able to post using Twitter within IE and I also see updates from the Cumulus API.
Lets hope it stays that way.

That's typical. I've changed Cumulus so it logs the http response correctly, and I'm waiting for it to fail again

still no update from me -- Steve, have you updated?
EDIT -- in fact if I go onto Twitter I can see you updated two hours ago!

The error code is 408 - which is a timeout.

It seems the auto-uploads may be running into this:
Twitter is over capacity.
Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.

I gave up today and have stopped Tweeting; I see no benefit in Cumulus sending the data, Twitter accepting but ignoring it and any followers having inaccurate and outdated info.
