highest rain rate record

Post by Lozsing »

had a problem with my tipping bucket and I have ended up with a best record yesterday of 3.57inch rain in an hour which is wrong. is there any way I can correct it .Looked in the dayfile .txt but there is no highest rain rate that I can edit.

There's a lot of information about correcting rainfall data in the FAQ and the wiki. The all-time record rain rate is held in alltime.ini - you can use the editor in Cumulus to change it. You can find the previous all-time record from alltimelog.txt. Other records (this month, this year, all-time for February) are also likely to have been affected. There are editors for these also. You can also look up the previous correct figures by looking at the ini files in the Cumulus backup folders.
