refresh

Post by keithennis »

Why is it when I do a refresh on any page I always get redirected to the home page? Sometimes I may want to refresh one of the other pages.

Thanks,

Keith

It's hard to say without knowing the web site that you're talking about. There is nothing in the supplied 'standard' web pages that could cause that. So it's either something that your browser or your web server is doing, or perhaps you are not using the standard pages.

Those are Jacques's 'Weather by You' templates. But it looks like the problem is caused by your use of a frame with http://www.kathyandkeith.mx/ as the source. So a page reload will always reload that page, i.e the home page. I don't know how you solve that.

I understand that now. I am going to move everything over to www.islaweather.com as soon as my hosting is setup.

Thanks,

Keith, I think I know why you have that problem of returning to the home page whenever a refresh of any pages is done. Your pages are displayed through the use of the deprecated HTML <frameset>/<frame> tags. If you go directly to the home page (at 'http://www.kathyandkeith.mx/index.htm') without the 'frame' tags, there is no such problem. If you can, stay away from using frames...
