That's good to hear. My Pi2 is still on its way. Does it use more than one core?

Err, difficult to tell (I'm no Linux expert). HTOP shows several CumulusMX processes (threads?) all apparently using less than 0.0% cpu
Sorry can't be more helpful - unless someone tells me how to tell!

I understand - I wouldn't know how to do it myself.

This works in linux mint...
in a terminal install - sudo apt-get install sysstat
then - mpstat -P ALL 1

Lucky. Most US Resellers do not have it yet. I got my B+ from adafruit here in the US. The sad thing is I *just* bought it not even 3 weeks ago. Outdated so quick.

I'm in the same boat, had mine less than two weeks! At least it wasn't such a large expense! I wondered why my B+ was cheap!
I expect it will have to go on eBay, 1 careful owner, very low mileage.......
Adrian, did you do a fresh install on the Pi 2, or just swap the micro SD card over?

There is fresh build of Raspbian, Noobs and various other flavours including a Ubuntu core in order to take advantage of the 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU.
Raspbian is now a 967MB download for the image, so if you are on a slow broadband connection like me you had better get started!!

Sorry for the delay. Because it was a new SD card, I rebuilt it. I understand you can just swap - if you had a micro SD in an adapter in the old Pi of course.

You can just update in place on the micro SD (assuming you have an A+ or B+) before you swap over, the latest will run on both. There is a good rundown here

Mine came yesterday, and I had made sure my card was up to date so I could just swap. It came as a bit of a surprise to find the micro SD slot! I just happened to have a micro SD card anyway, so I cloned the old card - works fine.

So, is the Pi-2 going to be up to running a self hosting web site and MySQL? Or is the BeagleBone Black still going to be favourite?

I would think the Pi 2 and the BB are roughly similar in performance. Unfortunately the micro SD card that I happened to have was my BB card, so I can't do any comparisons at the moment. I hadn't got around to trying MX on the BB.
Edit: Actually, I see that my BB has a card in it, so I will be able to try MX on it.
