Current Conditions (bit of a stupid question)

Post by Smithee »

Morning all,

I have a dashboard running using Ajax to change the values/background colour by temp:

http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/dashboard.htm

I am just wondering how to get the current conditions ajax tag to work? - I note from the wiki that you need cumulus to process currentconditions.txt but i can t find an example of the file to put in my cumulus folder...

Perhaps its a lack of coffee this morning, but any help or a copy of currentconditions.txt to process would be great :)

A text file containing your text i.e. "This is the current condition at 10.34 , rain, cold and dull".

Just put something 'in the box' of the Cumulus console and it will be created, but as water01 says it's just a simple txt file that gets put into a <#webtag>.

You make like to play with this: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=12831

BTW. Why are you loading jquery twice ?
