Well?
Possible?
Or not?
I am using NTP but would like to use WH1080's MSF clock.
Thanks
Larry

It would be possible, yes. The station time isn't in the block of memory that Cumulus reads periodically, but it's in the block that it reads at start up, so it could probably do it at that time. I could possibly put it into Cumulus 2. It's not something I'd want myself, given how prone the station is to giving garbage data. I guess there would have to be some sort of checking that the time was within a reasonable range of the existing PC clock.

Yeah! I have seen the odd data that my other MSF clock gives when the batteries are running out. Its just that sometimes the NTP server I use is busy and I get a large error returned. A little (ms) error is not bad but minuets is unacceptable.
Thanks

Having looked into it a bit more, there's a problem. The time is only stored in the station memory to the nearest minute (I think the hardware clock must write to the memory each minute). So it's not really suitable for setting the PC clock.
