Cumulus Support

The image Cumulus provides the Moon has low resolution. It would be desirable to add a next versions with higher quality.

The next major version of Cumulus doesn't generate moon images at all. The current version of Cumulus uses a third-party library to generate the image, so there's nothing I can do about that.

If you want something better for your web site than the image that Cumulus provides, you should be able to find threads on the forum where users have implemented their own moon images. Also, some people use this - http://www.moonconnection.com/moon_module.phtml

If you do a search on the forum you will some topics on how to do that - for your web site anyway. I have gone the other way and have a simpler 'Moon'.

I'm also in search of a simpler version of the moon image for my Website, since CumulsMX doesn't provide it any more.

I've checked out some other third party links like above, but they are far too complex and are targeting to a real moon phase site / calendar.

I simply would need a translation of the english text phrases which are anyway on the website to a graphical description (since I am not a native english speaker)

I use a third party class to provide the value for the illumination, but you could use the the Cumulus web tag <#MoonPercent>

I've been using the one provided by this site for a few years. The author doesn't mind if you explain why you're using it.

However I've noticed, that my veeery basic knowledge of web site design with html and Java script is by far not sufficient to do the task I wanted to do.

Now I´m learning HTML first
