Data Logger Interval

Post by water01 »

Some time back (possibly a year ago, I forget!!) I set the logger interval on my Fine Offset to 5 minutes using SetLogger.

When people were mentioning Data Logger entries in the Cumulus MX Beta testing area I thought I would use MX's facility to look at the Data logs and low and behold all was OK but the Data logger interval was 10 minutes.

Checked the Wiki and saw this was the default and the setting was in Cumulus.ini (2=10mins, 1=5mins) and sure enough it read 2.

So although this idiot (me) changed the logger I obviously forgot to change Cumulus.ini. Will it affect anything if I edit Cumulus.ini and set it to 1 (i.e. 5 minutes) to match my logger or would it be better for data integrity purposes to set the logger back to 10 mins?

Setting Cumulus to 5 minutes now should be fine.
