WS3083 not downloading

I have recently bought a Aercus 3083 station and cannot down load the stored data to my computer running windows 7. I have set it as per instructions to fine offset with UV and set it to 30 mins and all the parameters are set . When I plug into the computer a box flashes up but all that happens is I get the present readings and no down load.Can anybody help and have I missed something simple as at the moment I am stumped, Had no problems with my previous Watson station but that gave up on me after 8 Years. Do you mean the data in the logger from before the first time you ran Cumulus? If so, see the FAQ - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#I.E2.8 ... er_station

If you mean that you close it down and then start it up again later, and it doesn't download the data to fill in the gap from when it was closed down, then (assuming you haven't unset 'use data logger'), please zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply.

Many thanks for your reply Steve I did as your link stated and used my fathers computer which has had the latest version of cumulus installed for a few weeks and the data downloaded no problems knew I'd missed something , Once again many thanks.
