newrecord tag

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

newrecord tag

Post by water01 »

My newrecord tag seems to have been set to one, but I had a look through the data and cannot see a "new record"? Is there anyway in MX to see what this refers to like Cumuls 1?

And in the same vein is there an equivalent flashing error light?

There's currently only the <#newrecord> tag, and nowhere currently on the interface that new records are signalled. The timestamp of the last new record is recorded (and written to today.ini), and if that timestamp is more than a day ago, the <#newrecord> tag is set to 1. The bug that you've discovered is that the default for that timestamp (i.e. until you actually break a record with MX) is a date way back in the past, so that's more than a day ago.

OK thanks Steve.

And the flashing Error light is not on the interface either?
