Hi All,

I was recently given a Aercus Instruments WS2083. It has the correct readings on the unit but the :| dayfile.txt and the cumulus software seem to be showing some crazy numbers. I was using building 1.9.4 1094 until recently and have upgraded to 1.9.4 1099 but still getting funny readings.

It's in the software that I see the funny readings. Windspeeds of +184km p/hr. rainfalls of +36000 mm in one day crazy low temperatures of -20 degrees c

I have uploaded some pictures.

Please help!! :o)

Have you selected the correct station type? See http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#I_get_ ... h_readings

Yes I had the station type set to Fine offset with UV light sensor but I had a WS2083 so I have changed the station type to WS2000 so will see how that goes and otherwise change it to the one you mentioned.

Thanks for your help

I don't know what a WS2000 is - do you mean WS2300? That'a a La Crosse station, and that setting won't work at all with your station. Your station is a Fine Offset but has no solar sensors. You need to select the station type that the FAQ tells you to select.
