trendsT.htm
On looking at the new trendsT.htm so I can replace my old php based trends program I see that it requires recentGraphs.js to work with highcharts, but I cannot find recentGraphs.js in the release anywhere?

Re: trendsT.htm
I put some old files in the website part of the distribution - I'll fix it in the next build.

Re: trendsT.htm
Have you uploaded all of the files from the webfiles folder? There should be a CSS file here - http://www.apeldoornmeteo.nl/cumulus/css/nv.d3.css - but your web server is returning an html file instead.nitrx wrote:Everything is fine by now only the trendgraphs are looking weird http://www.apeldoornmeteo.nl/cumulus/trends.htm they are not the same as on Steve's page *the seems to be a shadow ?

Re: trendsT.htm
OK I have tried to PHPise the trends.htm file at http://www.dmjsystems.co.uk/weather/MXtrends.php.
It would appear that my problem is with and on looking in the developer console I am getting a 404 on /weather/tempdatad3.json which I presume is the problem.
Steve understand if you would wish to ignore this as you have enough on your plate without idiots trying to get your code running in an unsupported environment.

Re: trendsT.htm
So where is that file actually? MX should be putting it in the same place as the other files, and that's where the javascript expects to find it. You could edit the javascript (js/cumuluscharts.js) to change the path.water01 wrote:I am getting a 404 on /weather/tempdatad3.json which I presume is the problem.

Re: trendsT.htm
As you replied I suddenly thought "so where does it get the data as these are not images anymore"!!
Are you saying that MX uploads tempdatad3.json to the website as part of the standard files as I have that switched off as I do not use the html code? In Cumulus 1 I just upload the image files and not the standard htm files.

Re: trendsT.htm
Yes, at the moment there is no way to have the graph data files uploaded without the html files.

Re: trendsT.htm
Right now live at http://www.dmjsystems.co.uk/weather/trends.php
It might be worth putting the details of the json files being loaded as part of the standard web file uploads as I am sure that there are other PHP users who in Cumulus 1 only uploaded the standard images in order to save bandwidth.
And it would be nice at a later date if there was a "Upload trends json files only" option.

Re: trendsT.htm
Interesting that the lines on the web chart are thinner than the lines on the Dashboard charts. Is that a setting in the charting tool?

Re: trendsT.htm
Yes, it's done with CSS. If you look in charts.html in the interface, you'll see:
.nvd3 g.nv-groups path.nv-line {
stroke-width: 3px;
}
I think I did that after I changed the background to blue, the lines didn't seem so clear or something.

Re: trendsT.htm
Sorry to be a little slow on understanding the new upload for the trends/charts...
I have uploaded the full new webfiles folder as is to /weather/
This may not be correct as trends is not displaying any charts just the template's text. I did that full
\webfiles\ folder upload as some folders and files in this new folder already existed on my webserver
and didn't want to over write them. Is there a mention somewhere in this CumulusMX forum on what folders and files should be uploaded and to where?

Re: trendsT.htm
It's the same as with Cumulus 1. You upload the contents of webfiles to wherever it is that you want your Cumulus web site to be - i.e. to the directory that you specify in the web settings in Cumulus.
