Steve,
I wondered if it might be a good idea to start a thread for FAQs as I suspect you are going to get the same questions over and over again.

Had to post here cos it looks like cant ask questions attached to the pinned FAQ.

Some people might not like running as root. It might cause issues starting the program automatically (at least in Windows - I don't know about Linux). Is this a permanent state of affairs or will this requirement be relaxed as the beta progresses?
