Wind Direction Graph

In my graph, the wind direction +....is only displayed while i'm connected to the pc & Cumulus is running....if I shut Cumulus
down the + goes someware....just wondering if this is normal.

Phil, it's normal. The '+' shows the 'current' direction, and the 'blob' shows the 10-minute average direction. Cumulus calculates the 10-minute average itself and it can only do this while it's running. It also doesn't store the average direction in the log file.
When you restart Cumulus, it populates the graphs initially from the stored data in the station logger and in the Cumulus log file, so it only has one direction available for plotting, so the points coincide (it plots the same value for both).

This is 1 facility I too wish for.
Can a historic wind direction graph facility be built into Cumulus 2 please.

I do log both 'current' and 'average' directions in Cumulus 2, so in future there will be two values to plot at start up. But when the data being plotted is from the logger, it won't be brillliant anyway, as making a 10-minute average from points that are at best 5 minutes apart won't produce very good results. So the graphs will still look a bit odd at startup, for any periods when Cumulus wasn't running.
