Forecast states?

Post by Leigh Preece »

Hiya - and thank you for all support received and great add-ons for Cumulus (now have WAP and iPhone pages!) !

Just a quick question - mainly for Steve I guess - but here goes:

Is there any way of obtaining a list of all of the <#forecast> states that Cumulus offers?

Reason is - been talking to a friend of mine who writes software for Visually Impaired people and he likes the look of Cumulus and the fact that it outputs data that can be used elsewhere.

Not sure what he's planning or thinking but he says it would be useful to know to see if he can make a 'talking' add on or use Cumulus to supply the data for a talking widget, as he calls it.

Can I see the list within Cumulus somehow or could you supply a list Steve?

Thanks.

David's put them in the wiki -http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/index.php?ti ... ast_webtag

Note that those are only the forecast strings generated by Cumulus; if a weather station generates its own, and the 'Cumulus forecast' option is not selected, then the strings you get are defined by the weather station.

Steve - thanks - seeing your answer - I realise it's time I read the Wiki a little more! :D
