Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3)
To add to the long list - I have an OS WMR100 I would be willing to try with the new program - it would run on Windows Server 2008.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3)
Hi Steve,
Always late to the party!
I'm running Cumulus on an XP netbook with VirtualVP and have (I think) a spare slot for another wx programme.
I have heavily modified date and time formats on a few custom pages and hope those can eventually be accommodated on the new MX interface.
Bearing all that in mind I'm happy to give MX a test. Thank you for the opportunity.

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3)
Cumulus MX on a RPI with Raspian Wheezy
I have a RPI running Raspbian Wheezy + PYWWS (see my signature). It runs fine, but I like Cumulus far more.
For a first impression I chose to have a dedicated Raspbian. I have to remember to change to the card with my other image, Raspian + PYWWS, to have subsequent data from the WH3080.
After that, I will try to have PYWWS and CMX running simultaniously. I realize that USB access might be a problem.
And finally –I hope- will CMX my one and only SW running on the RPI.
What I did:
Bought a new 8 GB SD card
Formatted it with my digital camera
Downloaded Raspbian from: http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/ 2014-12-24
Used Win32 disk imager to write the image to the card.
Shutdown the RPI running Raspbian with PYWWS: sudo shutdown now
Edited my current weather index.html, added a line: “obsolete data”
Replaced the SD card.
After booting I checked the obtained DHCP address by looking in the connection list of the router.
Then I logged in with Putty on my Windows computer. (default user: pi, password raspberry)
I ran raspi-config: sudo raspi-config
Expanded the volume, and set the local time. No other changes.
So far, so good.
Is Mono installed already in the default Raspbian package?: No: the command mono –V reports: command not found.
So, on the command line using Putty:
- sudo apt-get update (this will take a few minutes)
- sudo apt-get install mono-complete (this will take about 10 minutes)
- sudo apt-get install automake (this will take about 2 minutes)
- sudo apt-get install libtool (this will take about 2 minutes)
(What has happened running these commands: a lot, but I really do not understand what)
After that, the command mono –V reports:
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ mono -V
Mono JIT compiler version 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-4+rpi1)

TLS: __thread
SIGSEGV: normal
Notifications: epoll
Architecture: armel,vfp+hard
Disabled: none
Misc: softdebug
LLVM: supported, not enabled.
GC: sgen
So I think I am ready for Steve’s installation files, find out where to put them, how to run …
About NOOBS: I am running a headless RPI (no keyboard, no monitor, just SSH access). Therefor I chose for Raspian, not NOOBS. Some wrote about a NOOBS headless installation, there seems to be a trick.
So Steve, I am ready, when you are …

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3)
What locale are you using on your Pi? You've reminded me that there was a bug in the 'hard float' version of Mono on the Pi which affected the parsing of numbers with comma for decimals. I don't know whether it's been fixed or not. This is in addition to the other potential problems with comma decimals that I mentioned previously
