Slow to download and slow to close

I have had my new Davis Vantage Vue for about 4 weeks and am finding that the initial download is taking many seconds and even longer to close down. Even if I reload Cumulus immediately after shutting it down the same delays are there.
Weatherlink takes just a few seconds to download data and shuts down with no delay.
I would like to continue using Cumulus but if the delay is going to get longer and longer as more data is accumulated then I shall have to use Weatherlink.

My full start up is anywhere from about 5 to 15 sec, and shut down just a few sec. I have both Cumulus and WL datalogger at 10 min interval.

Thank you Paul.. The archive interval in Weatherlink was set to 30 mins and Cumulus to a few seconds so I have changed Cumulus to 30 mins.
We'll se if that fixes it

The smallest interval you can set in Cumulus is one minute. Have you changed the correct setting? It's the 'Data log interval' on the station settings screen.

I don't know where I got 'seconds' from. The interval is now set to 30 mins in Weatherlink and the Data Logger screen.
After a slight delay for initialisation download is much quicker and close down has about a 2 second delay.
