The Weatherlink IP is not designed to allow connections from more than one computer at the same time.

That doesn't change the fact that the Weatherlink IP is not designed to allow connections from more than one computer at the same time. But don't believe me if you don't want to. You might do well to believe John Dann, however, who is a Davis dealer (and has been for many years) and knows more about Davis stations than I could ever hope to:

Important Note: It should be appreciated that the IP logger is not a server for weather data - it can only support one request for data at a time and any attempt to fire multiple simultaneous requests at the IP logger will result in a confused logger that may need the console to be rebooted. In other words, the logger must only be expected to undertake one task at any one time whether this be uploads to weatherlink.com or to service data requests from local software.

If the logger is connected to weatherlink.com, it is likely that it will reject connections from a computer (and the -32701 error will result). Similarly, if one computer is already connected, and another tries to connect, the same result is likely. If the logger is not connected to weatherlink.com and even one computer cannot connect, then you probably have a network problem, or a problem with the logger. The fact that you have just changed internet provider would suggest that you have a network problem.

If you are asking me how you get the station to connect, then I'm sorry but I don't know, because I don't know what your problem is. If you cannot get even one computer to connect to it, then perhaps you are not using the correct IP address and/or port. Perhaps you have a routing or firewall problem. Have you tried getting Weatherlink to connect?

I'm sorry, but I'm having difficulty understanding what you are saying. You say that Weatherlink works, but yet you show an error message?

If your WLIP is not updating weatherlink.com, then my guess would be either that it cannot the site for some reason, or it is unable to connect because something else is connected to it - it can't upload while a computer is connected.

I know very little about the IP logger, perhaps someone else will be able to help.
