Hi
My current Davis logger has got a faulty cable so I have got myself a new (second hand) one to replace it.
Before I put it in, is there anything I need to do to Cumulus to stop it reading in any archive data held in the new logger and adding it to my existing data?
Cheers!

Re: Replacing Davis logger with second hand one
Will it retain the old data anyway? I'm not sure.
Cumulus will only read logger data from the point where it was last closed down - or more precisely, from the last time it wrote an entry to its data logs before it was closed down. So even if the logger does retain the data, it will all be old data from before the point where you close Cumulus down to do the swap.
Don't forget that you will need to completely power off the console to swap the loggers.
