Vantage Vue not recieving outdoor temp

My new to me Vantage Vue seems to work well except for the outdoor temp and dew point. Both of these show dashes where the temp should be.

I have replaced the battery in the ISS to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Possibly a sensor failure? Had it been working ok before you got it? Do you upload to Weather Underground or a website, if so can you give a link so we can look at it?

It was working good before I got it. I don't have the ability to connect my davis to the net so I can't explore that avenue.

Sorry, I am not much help with hardware issues especially with the View as I don't have that station. Presumably you have checked if perhaps a sensor got a loose connection. Do you have a datalogger or just the ISS and console?

You could check the Davis Vue manual to see if there is any mention on checking the external sensors. The manual should be available from the Davis site. And you could also contact/call Davis support.
