Incorrect temperature reading

Post by foxy1305 »

A while ago I asked the question about what I thought was high temperature reading. Since then the ambient has not been out of the ordinary so I haven't had reason to check. But now I notice the exterior reading is 10.7 which again seems high. So I have checked with a standard mercury thermometer placed near the pole inside a ice cream tub to protect from wind and after leaving to settle it reads 6-7 so the system seems to be misreading by about 4 degrees c. Is there a way it can be re-calibrated?
Thanks

Try using the Cumulus calibration feature in the Configuration menu.

I don't know exactly where you are, but 10.7C seems like a reasonable reading for the South West of England at this moment. Most stations are reporting around 10 or 11C currently.
